Quinta da Pacheca & Quinta da Casa Amarela

We start our morning with a visit to the emblematic Quinta da Pacheca, one of the best known properties of the Douro. This estate stands out for being one of the first ones to bottle wine under their own brand and it is characterized for being one of the few whose vineyard area is almost flat. Its history dates back to 1738, but it was only in 1903 that the family Serpa Pimentel decided to develop their own growing interest in winemaking, developing the property, the second largest in Portugal. Lunch will be served at the estate. After lunch we will continue our day with the visit to the traditional estate Casa Amarela, located on the left bank of the Douro River, halfway between Régua and Lamego.
