Sintra / Cabo da Roca / Cascais – Full Day
Once in Lisbon, travel to Sintra, the first “cultural landscape” to be inscribed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Visit the stunning Pena Palace (admission and guided visit), the most complete example of Romantic architecture in Portugal. In the historic center of Sintra, explore the narrow streets and take the chance to taste the famous queijadas and travesseiros. After the lunch in Sintra (optional), stop at Cabo da Roca – the westernmost point of Continental Europe, and travel along the Atlantic coast to Cascais, passing by the Guincho Beach and Boca do Inferno. On the way back to Lisbon, enjoy panoramic views of the Casino Estoril, one of Europe’s biggest casinos , and its gardens.
